Sunday afternoon blues and tunes

Going back to work isn't the problem; I leapt over that hurdle last week, and felt surprisingly productive. It's not twixmas overeating; I was quite good with that and did a fair bit of walking to counter what I did cave to. The rain isn't helping sure. But for whatever reason I have an all-encompassing case of the Sunday afternoon blues.

As a result I am in no mood to ruminate, extrapolate, pontificate or delve into the complexities or warming mundanities of life, the universe and everything.

All I am fit for, it would seem, is listening to music, drinking hot chocolate and wallowing in that heart-breaking gloom of a long, and ever-lasting Sunday afternoon.

And so I give to you a few of the tunes that are helping me to swim (or sink) in this deluge of gloom...

I don't know how to handle Prince's death. This is a first for me. I've lived a fairly charmed life, in that nobody I've ever admired has died. But then, the list of people I truly admire is a short one. There are only four. 1. My mother 2. Prince 3.
